For this project, we designed an innovative text analysis approach to better understand political dynamics:

 

  • Data Acquisition: Tweets from MPs and political parties, parliamentary debate transcripts, and press releases.

  • Data Preparation: Structuring and cleaning for comprehensive analysis.

  • Automated Analysis: Classifying discourse by topic, political affiliation, and sentiment (optimistic, pessimistic).

  • Network Visualization: Mapping political actors and their connections based on affiliations and interactions.

Impact: This project contributed to the success of Projet Quorum, enhancing research in social sciences.

Turning Cybersecurity into a Performance Driver

We helped our client strengthen their information security by leveraging data from their security systems to:

 

  • Develop performance indicators to assess the effectiveness of cybersecurity awareness campaigns.

Predicting Bed Sore Risks in Hospitals

AI-Driven Patient Care Optimization

We developed a prototype using predictive analytics to assess the risk of bed sores in hospitalized patients. Our AI model takes into account:

  • Clinical factors: Diagnosis, medical history, mobility.

  • Demographic data: Age, gender, weight, height.

  • Hospitalization duration and patient monitoring.

 

Impact: A decision-support tool that helps medical staff anticipate complications and improve patient comfort through preventive treatments.

Radar+: Real-Time Media Analytics

This innovative project relies on an automated and continuous data pipeline which we designed and put in place in order to monitor 13 Canadian news outlets and:

  • Track headlines in real-time, with updates every 10 minutes.

  • Measure media presence duration of news topics.

  • Analyze content trends through automated text processing.

 

Impact: A powerful tool for researchers to study media coverage and better understand news media influence across Canada.
